Pay Range: Starting at $21.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experienceThe Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating a welcoming environment for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Supervise and train deli staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of deli products.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the deli area.
Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, providing solutions that align with company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering services for events such as banquets or special occasions.
Monitor food preparation processes to guarantee quality standards are met consistently.
Assist in shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred.
Strong background in food service management with knowledge of hospitality industry standards.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
Experience in managing shifts and leading a team effectively.
Familiarity with coffee preparation and bar operations is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
